Laura Gonnerman
Associate General Counsel
Laura is Associate General Counsel for the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵof Nebraska. Laura’s primary responsibilities include intellectual property matters, particularly trademarks and copyright; managing the corporate books of the University’s subsidiaries; immigration; data security; and licensing. She is a graduate of Creighton ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵand the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵof Nebraska College of Law. Prior to joining the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵof Nebraska in 2015, Laura clerked for the Nebraska Supreme Court and spent time in private practice focusing on securities and mergers and acquisitions.
